Set strings:

Note: This is a work in progress. It doesn't work in Internet Explorer yet, as it uses standard javascript, something that Internet Explorer doesn't seem to support (stupid, I know). That alone probably rules out most people. Don't worry the finished product will be fudged to support IE. Also, this version currently doesn't have the chord display/recognition bits. What you may notice, is that everything is faster, and the page doesn't refresh every time you click a note (which was a real limitation in the old version, I thought). This is because this version uses javascript rather than PHP to do the work. Another side effect of this is that now you can read my horrid code. In this case, this is my first proper venture into javascript programming, as the last version was my first PHP page. If the source is crap, and you know a better way, then let me know. Like I said, this is my first earnest attempt at JS.

The other significant feature is that the site will remember your string/tuning configuration for next time.

Please, please contact me if you are likely to use this site, as I'm creating it for you, and want to know what you want from it. I use it, but looking at the stats, I'm not the only one. So, let me know what you'd like this site to do. Email me here no matter how silly your suggestion!
